On Monday 4 October our students proudly presented their 7 applied research posters to the visitors of the Wetsus Congress in Leeuwarden! In the past month CEW interns from the NHL Stenden Communicatie and CMD (Communication & Multimedia Design) program, together with technology students from various Life Sciences programs, worked on a series of posters. ‘
These posters tell the story of 7 applied research projects currently running at CEW. On Monday 4 October the technology students presented their own project to an international audience consisting of representatives from companies and governments, universities, research institutes and many others. The students received a lot of challenging questions from the visitors and often had to answer them in English. Despite the fact that this was a new experience for most and therefore a challenge, they did an excellent job. We are therefore very proud of our students!
The prize for best poster in the category applied research went to the Water Technology Lectorate of NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, led by Luewton Agostinho, and the subject was ‘Manufacturing of PA-6 nanofibers as reference material for water treatment studies’.
